Windows xp and newer:

xp runs DOS poorly.
I'd recommend an emulator (see below).

D-Fend Reloaded

DOS emulator.

emulates sound for DOS games. Experiencing sound lag? Read VDMS.INI after installation.

DOS boot disk for NTFS.

This program uses a formatted floppy or a Windows-formatted bootable floppy. I could only get it to work using the Windows-formatted bootable floppy.
